WHY WE MADE THIS

Some tees look old. The rare ones feel as though they escaped from another timeline.

We approached this piece like a lost AKIRA artifact: fractured character frames, distressed Japanese lettering, faded warning colors, and archival Neo-Tokyo markings spread across a washed-black body.

It was created for the collector who stops halfway through a rack when something feels different—not because the shirt remained perfect, but because every faded color and weathered edge appears to carry a history of its own.

Not merchandise from the future.
A relic that survived it.

THE IDEA

The design is built around the pressure that comes before transformation.

Across the front, the Japanese AKIRA title rises in toxic green, filled with fragmented textures and interrupted by a human silhouette. Beneath it, two character studies create a tension between stillness and collapse—one figure standing alone, the other folding inward as if the weight inside him has become impossible to hold.

The restrained composition leaves much of the washed-black fabric exposed. That empty space creates distance around the characters, suggesting isolation within the larger chaos of Neo-Tokyo.

The back brings that pressure to the surface. Tetsuo’s strained, sweat-covered face fills the composition as he looks toward a capsule suspended above him. A narrow triangular frame directs the eye between the capsule and his expression, visually connecting medication, experimentation, and pain.

The words “I Have a Little Headache” turn an ordinary complaint into an omen. What sounds small becomes a warning that something uncontrollable has already begun.

On the long-sleeve version, Neo-Tokyo panels, Japanese lettering, subdued character studies, and the date “July 16, 1988” extend the narrative down both arms. The sleeves make the garment feel like a deconstructed film poster or an archive recovered from the city.

Acid green and warning yellow cut through the faded black like laboratory signals. Restrained reds, blues, and dusty flesh tones preserve a human presence beneath the science-fiction spectacle. The distressed surface connects every element, making the artwork appear weathered by Neo-Tokyo.

FIT

Oversized, relaxed fit with a boxy shape and dropped shoulders. Designed to fall loosely through the body for an effortless vintage silhouette.

The short-sleeve version features wide, relaxed sleeves. The long-sleeve version extends the same oversized shape through the arms and is finished with ribbed cuffs.

CARE

Wash inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle. Wash with similar colors. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron directly over the artwork. Hang dry in the shade to preserve the fabric, color, and print.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We want every DRU order to arrive in the condition and specification expected. Please review this policy before requesting a return, exchange, or refund.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

You may request a return within 14 calendar days after your order has been delivered.

To qualify for a return, the item must:

• Be unworn, unused, and unwashed;
• Remain in its original condition;
• Include its original tags and packaging; and
• Be accompanied by proof of purchase or the corresponding order number.

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Please note that fading, cracking, distressing, abrasions, irregular coloration, burn treatments, and other intentional finishing details are part of the design and character of certain DRU products. These intended variations are not considered manufacturing defects.

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To request a return, contact us at drubasic@gmail.com and include:

• Your full name;
• Order number;
• Item you wish to return;
• Reason for the return; and
• Clear photographs or video when reporting damage, defects, or an incorrect item.

If the return is accepted, we will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address. Do not send an item back before receiving confirmation from us.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Contact us promptly if the item is damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or differs from the item ordered.

If our assessment confirms that DRU sent an incorrect or defective item, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, store credit, or refund. Reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by DRU in these cases.

SIZE EXCHANGES

Size exchanges may be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery, subject to stock availability.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to a size exchange unless DRU supplied a size different from the one stated in the order.

Because some releases are produced in limited quantities, we cannot guarantee that the requested replacement size will remain available. If no replacement is available, we may offer store credit or another available resolution.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot normally be returned:

• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged, or stained after delivery;
• Items without their original tags or packaging;
• Personalized or custom-made products;
• Gift cards;
• Items marked as final sale; and
• Items returned outside the approved return period.

This exclusion does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

RETURN SHIPPING

Unless the item is confirmed to be defective, damaged upon arrival, or incorrectly supplied by DRU, the customer is responsible for return shipping and any associated costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. DRU is not responsible for return parcels that are lost, damaged, or not delivered to our return address.

International shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, handling charges, and other government or carrier charges are not refundable by DRU, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

REFUNDS

After the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact drubasic@gmail.com.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

A cancellation request may only be accepted if the order has not entered processing, packing, or shipment.

Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must follow the return procedure above. Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be stopped.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to the customer.

SHIPPING AND IMPORT DUTIES POLICY

ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are generally processed within 3–7 business days after payment has been successfully confirmed.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, Indonesian public holidays, and any temporary closure period announced by DRU.

Pre-order, made-to-order, or special-release products may require a longer processing period. When applicable, the estimated processing period will be stated on the relevant product page or communicated separately.

Processing time is separate from the carrier’s estimated delivery time.

SHIPPING WITHIN INDONESIA

DRU provides a domestic shipping subsidy of up to IDR 35,000 per eligible order.

If the available shipping rate is IDR 35,000 or less, the order may qualify for free shipping. If the shipping rate exceeds IDR 35,000, the customer is responsible for the remaining amount displayed at checkout.

Shipping availability, rates, and estimated delivery times depend on the destination, package weight, and courier coverage.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Complimentary standard international shipping is available for eligible countries and regions currently supported at checkout.

International orders may be shipped through POS Indonesia, Rayspeed, or another appropriate delivery partner. DRU reserves the right to select the carrier and service based on the destination, package requirements, availability, cost, and expected delivery performance.

Free international shipping covers the transportation charge selected by DRU. It does not include import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, storage fees, or other charges imposed after the parcel reaches its destination country.

DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Delivery estimates shown at checkout or communicated after shipment are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delivery may be affected by:

• Customs inspections and clearance;
• Local carrier operations;
• Public holidays;
• Severe weather or natural events;
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
• Remote-area delivery limitations; or
• Other circumstances beyond DRU’s reasonable control.

A delay caused by a carrier or customs authority does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation or refund.

CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES, AND TAXES

International orders are generally shipped with import duties and taxes unpaid unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

The recipient is responsible for determining and paying any import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, or other government charges imposed by the destination country.

Customs regulations vary by country. DRU cannot predict or guarantee the amount that may be charged. Customers should contact their local customs authority before ordering if they require further information.

Free shipping does not mean that an order is free from import duties or local taxes.

REFUSED OR UNCLAIMED INTERNATIONAL PARCELS

If a customer refuses delivery, fails to pay required import charges, provides an incorrect address, or does not collect a parcel, the shipment may be abandoned, destroyed, or returned to DRU.

Where a parcel is returned, any return shipping fees, duties, taxes, storage charges, carrier fees, and related costs may be deducted from any refund permitted under applicable law.

A refund cannot be guaranteed if the carrier or customs authority abandons or destroys the parcel.

ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, recipient name, postal code, email address, and telephone number.

DRU is not responsible for additional costs or delivery failures resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the customer.

TRACKING

When tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with the order.

Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take time to appear after dispatch.

LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If tracking shows that a parcel has not moved for an unusual period, or if the parcel arrives visibly damaged, contact drubasic@gmail.com with your order number and supporting photographs or video.

DRU will assist with the carrier investigation where possible. A replacement or refund will only be issued after reviewing the circumstances and, where applicable, receiving confirmation from the carrier.
